2nd European Sport for All Congress
Barcelona, Spain, 23-25 October, 2008

It is our pleasure to invite you to submit presentations for the 2nd European Sport for All Congress. This is your chance to become an active participant and help develop the congress into a valuable and diverse event.

Deadline for submission of presentations is 15 August 2008.
The overall congress topic is “Sport and Health: From theory to practice”, and the sub-themes are

We welcome a wide range of suggestions from best practise examples to research-based presentations, and encourage all interested persons to submit a proposal or inquire for further details. Please see more about the conference topics at www.sportforall-congress.eu
The presentation should be in English and can be in one of the following formats:
Oral Presentation: Your presentation should have a maximum duration of 20 minutes, followed by debate. You can use Power Point or similar for your presentation. Conference proceedings will include the paper and/or Power point from the presentation.
Poster Presentation: Poster Presentation is a great opportunity to present papers while meeting with interested attendees for in-depth discussions. Conference proceedings will include the abstract or background paper. Recommended poster size is up to 90 cm wide and 100 cm high.
Video Presentation: Video Presentations give excellent opportunities to give participants a clear picture of the selected topic. Video presentations will be screened in a special session, and are expected to be introduced by a short statement.

Abstracts should be submitted electronically to: lindsay.young@cess-info.eu  before the deadline on 15 August 2008. If there is a need for quick evaluation (e.g. to apply other institutions for financial support), please note this when submitting the proposal, and the evaluation committee will reply within 15 days.

The participation in the congress is open to all those sports organizations, public companies and admi-nistrations linked to the promotion of sport as a healthy habit. Those people or institutions that want to play an active part in the congress will be able to do so by presenting papers, board expositions, posters or video presentations.

Congress Format

• Over the course of the congress there will be numerous sessions, in which different styles of communication will be used. The objective being to identify action policies, to facilitate the exchange of experiences and to promote the debate among those assisting the event, plenary sessions will be presented, talk shows, panel debates and round tables.
